Angus & Friends Cat Rescue and PetSmart Charities working together to find homes for deserving cats and kittens! Please come and meet our wonderful cats and kittens. We look forward to seeing you there! Please note that because of the uptick in severe covid cases, and the close proximity of those coming to see the cats, we ask that you follow the requirements set out by PetSmart, and even if they do not require masks, we ask that while you are in the Cat Adoption Center, that you please do wear a mask. Many people are older, and we appreciate your consideration. Also, please note that we do not do same day adoptions, but if you find the cat or kittens you would like to adopt, we will work with you to set up a date to bring the cats or kittens to you that is convenient for you. Our adoption fee is $150. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday.
Angus & Friends Cat Rescue, a.k.a. Angus & Friends, Inc., works collaboratively with other groups to do Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), and to find loving, furrever homes for as many stray cats, and kittens, as possible. We are passionate about the cats, and about educating the public about ways to help the cats and kittens that cross their paths with the goal of reducing the numbers of community cats on the streets.
Our beautiful cats and kittens are available for adoption at Adopt-a-Pet.

Angus & Friends, Inc., is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) public charity organization that aims to reduce the numbers of community cats who suffer lives of deprivation and pain. As a small organization, we recognize the importance of working with other rescue groups to accomplish this goal due to the sheer numbers of cats and kittens born. We can be most effective when we can access the most resources, and we can do that by actively seeking out help wherever it is needed, and offering help whenever we have the resources.
Angus & Friends is always looking for new volunteers, especially anyone interested in fostering cats or kittens.

Like many other caring and compassionate people in the San Francisco Bay Area, I fell into doing cat rescue because of the obvious need to help the many cats I would see near where I lived and worked. I found like-minded people, and joined a cat rescue organization, and learned the ropes with the help of more experienced people who shared my passion to help animals wherever we encountered them. Over two decades later, and after many years with another group, I am still consumed with the need to help any animal in need. When the opportunity presented itself to start my own nonprofit, I jumped at the chance to take on a new challenge, and help even more cats get off the streets, and into their furrever homes. After all these years, and with the help of many volunteers and generous donors, I've probably, through the last organization I was with, and now on my own, rescued over 1,000 cats, and helped, conservatively, find homes for close to 800!
Today, at the age of 74, I am still out feeding 17 colonies every night, and collaborating with others, to get feral cats TNR'd, strays, momcats with kittens, and those litters of kittens where something has happened to the momcat, off the mean streets where they are killed by cars or coyotes, run off by people who don't want them around, or otherwise live short, very difficult lives, even when lucky enough to have found a colony being fed. This is my passion! But, I cannot do it alone and feel strongly that all of those individuals and organizations that are out there trying to help animals must work together to help as many of these lovely animals as possible.
