Our Adoptable Kitties

Prospective adopters should contact Angus & Friends by email at angusnfriends@outlook.com or by text or voice message at 510-909-4961. After an initial chat, we will send a link to our adoption application form.

Angus & Friends will then contact the applicant to determine if it will be a good fit, and if not, to recommend others cats/kittens that may be a better match for the family and situation.

Assuming everything is in order, Angus & Friends will notify the applicant that their application has been approved and set up a time for adopter to meet the cat(s). The representative from Angus & Friends will conduct a home visit when the cat is brought to the prospective adopter's home.

Adopter and rescue both have the ability to opt out at the time of adoption. If the adopter decides to go ahead with the adoption, the adoption contract is completed and fees are collected.

Adoptions applications may be conducted by phone, onlin, or in person through the process above; they may also be conducted at a local pet store such as Petsmart, or Pet Food Express.

Angus & Friends makes a lifelong commitment to each cat we rescue. If, for any reason and at any time, an adoption is not working out, the cat(s) should be returned to us. 

Please note that Angus & Friends cats MUST be indoors only; no exceptions! We will be happy to refer you to other rescues or to an animal shelter if there is any question or you want indoor/outdoor cat.
